  1. Ok Burdick, let’s see the “statistics” that back you up.

    I’ll wait here……

  2. michael says:

    ya; know your rights.

  3. John says:

Kevin, don’t hold your breath. You’re one of the “extremist,” she’s probably afraid you’re going to shoot her or something. After all, if you have a gun in your home, you’re crazy since you’re putting yourself and your family at “grater risk.” And political crazy doesn’t like plain crazy.

  4. Dustin says:

It’s fair to assume that all college students are drunken partiers who lack the ability to make rational decisions. The governed must be controlled because they cannot govern themselves. Thank God for the Nanny-State.

  5. Rachel says:

I’m with you, Kevin. In the meantime, here are some sourced statistics that, not surprisingly, disagree with Sen. Burdick’s:

  6. Nicholas Chase says:

Burdick doesn’t give a rat’s ass about facts because apparently neither do a majority of her constituents. Some solid education needs to happen in her district!

  7. Bob in Va. says:

By what sort of twisted logic do people like Ms Burdick and Ms Alford assume that I, other current and former Oregonians, and they themselves of course, are incompetent to own and carry a firearm? Are they admitting that they really are just too stupid to know how to responsibly handle a pistol, that they are so weak-minded that the gun will somehow take over their minds and force them into unspeakable acts of murder and mayhem, against their wills? No, of course not. They’re just liberals who know better than us little people how we should live our lives, which is to make themselves feel better about how progressive and modern and humane they are. Your job, little man, is to curl up in a ball and hope the a dirtball doesn’t kill you. Either that or go to prison for daring to be prepared to protect yourself and family. Good luck, Oregon.

    thanks writing this
